The collection comprises 18.3 cubic feet of scrapbooks, which include postcards, newspaper and magazine clippings, photographs, memorabilia, publications, speeches, and correspondence. The collection consists mainly of the following topics: Architecture (Boxes 1-5), Art (Boxes 5-10), Countries (Boxes 10-15), and Charles Moore, 1855-1942 (Box 17). Of special interest are materials documenting Katherine Gillette Osborne's journeys to Asia in the 1930s and correspondence relating to foreign travel, missionary work, and education. Also included are materials by and relating to Charles Moore (1855-1942). Moore was a member and chairman of the National Commission of Fine Arts (1910-1937), Acting Chief of the Division of Manuscripts of the Library of Congress (1918-1927), and the author of several books.

Katherine Gillette Osborne founded the Boston Students Union in 1910. She was resident director of Students House, the residence for women students run by the Union, from 1910 until her death in 1943. Charles Henry Moore (b. 1859) was the son of William James Moore, who had emigrated from Copiah County, Mississippi, to Nacogdoches, Texas in 1844. Moore was raised in Anderson County.
